Obituaries 

• Mrs. Mary George Veppumthara, aged 90, in Venmony Kerala passed away November 10, 2013. Mrs. George is the wife of the late V.K. George Veppumthara and the mother of our members Mr. George Veppumthara, Mr. Titus Veppumthara and the late Mr. Roy Veppumthara. The funeral was held on Sunday Nov. 17th at Sehion MTC, Venmony Kerala. 
  
• Mrs.Sini James, age 47, (daughter of Rev.P.D. Mathew and wife of James Kurian) of Kallissery, Chengannur, Kerala passed away (10/23/13). Mrs. Sini James is the sister of our member Mrs.Sissy Ambily Samuel of the Lanham/Bowie prayer group. Funeral arrangements were made in Kerala.
  
• Rev. M. G. Abraham, Cor Episcopa of the Syrian Orthodox Church, aged 79, passed away in Puthenkauv, Chengganur Kerala on 10/21/13. Cor Episcopa Abraham (also known as Valliyaparambil Achen) is the father of our member Mrs.Annie Parangot, wife of Mr. Abraham Parangot. The funeral arrangements are being made in Kerala and Mrs.Annie Parangot and family will be traveling to India to attend the funeral this week.
  
• Mr. Mathew Ninan, age 65, of Ernakulum, India passed away in Ernakulum on September 8, 2013 at 11am. Mr. Mathew Ninan is the father of our member Mrs. Bobby Mathew, brother of our members Dr.Thomas Ninan, Mr.Samuel Ninan,Mr. Rajan Ninan, and the uncle of our members Mrs. Pushpa Thomas, Mr.Stephen Joy and Mr. Stanly Joy. Several members of the family travelled to India to attend the funeral.
  
• Mr. Varghese Kurian (Rajan) aged 63 years from Kallupurayil,Valakuzhy, Kerala passed away August 30th. Mr. Varghese  Kurian is the brother of our members Mrs.Annamma Philip and Mr.Thomas Kurian of the Gaithersburg / Rockville prayer group. Funeral arrangements were made in Kerala.
  
• Mr. Raji Thomas, 42 years old, in Dubai passed away August 14, 2013. Mr.Raji Thomas is the nephew of our members Mrs. Annamma Philip and Mr.Thomas Kurian of the Gaithersburg/Rockville prayer group. Funeral arrangements are being made and the body will be taken to India for burial.
• Rev.T.J. Abraham in Atlanta (brother of our member Mr. John T. John of the NOVA  prayer group and late Mr. T.J. Thomas) passed away (8/11/13)  at 1:20 am. The wake was conducted in Atlanta on August 13, 2013 and the body was taken to India for burial. 
  
• Mr.C.J.Abraham, 79 years old, Saju Bhavan, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala passed away on July 4, 2013. He is the elder brother of our member, John C. Philipose of the Lanham/Bowie prayer group. The funeral service was on Wednesday (July 10, 2013 ) in Trivandrum, Kerala.
  
• Mr. P.P. Chacko,aged 82, in Ranni, Kerala passed away. Mr. Chacko is the elder brother of our member Mr. George Parakamannil, Mr. Thomas Philip, and Mrs. Leelamma Mathew all of the Gaithersburg / Rockville prayer group. Funeral arrangements are being made in Kerala. There was a condolence prayer meeting on Sunday June 23, 2013 at 4:30 p.m. at the residence of Mr. George Parakamannil. 
  
• Mr.P.K.Varghese, 80 years old, Pathickal, Perumbavoor, Kerala passed away on May 17, 2013. He is the elder brother of our member, Dr.P.K.Paulose, of the Lanham/Bowie prayer group. A prayer meeting was held at the residence of Dr. P.K. Paulose.
•  Dr. Ponnamma Alexander, 78 years old, Ikottackattu Bungalow, Kayamkulam, Kerala passed away on May 14, 2013. She is the younger sister of our member, Dr. George K. Zachariah, of the NOVA prayer group.
• Mr. Rajan Paul in Kerala, India sadly passed away May 3, 2013. Mr. Rajan Paul is the brother of our member, Mr. C.P.Mathew, of the Gaithersburg/Rockville prayer group. Mr. C.P. Mathew traveled to attend the funeral in India. 
  
• Mr. T.J. Thomas (Pappa) aged 95 of the Lanham/Bowie prayer group. Pappa passed away April 11, 2013 around 7:15 am.  Please keep the bereaved family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
  
• Mrs. Sosamma Varghese (67), our member and wife of Dr. George K.Varghese (Moni), passed away on February 18, 2013. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Moni, three sons (Dr. Jerry, Dr. Jebby and Justin), two daughters-in-laws (Dr. Sherin and Dr. Sarah) and three grandchildren (Jonah, Jaiden and Eaden). The church service was held at MTCGW on February 23 2013, followed by burial service at the Gate of Heaven Cemetry in Silver Spring, MD.
• Mr. A. T. Thomas, father of our member Dr. Reena Mary Thomas (wife of Dr. Anson Joseph) passed away in Ernakulam, Kerala on Monday February 18 2013.
• Mrs. Marykutty Daniel (77), sister of our member Dr. George K. Varghese (Moni) passed away in Punalur, Kerala on January 21 2013.

• Varghese Thomas and Julie Thomas (15637 Gold Ring Way, Derwood, MD 20855) were blessed with a baby boy (Joshua ) on November 15, 2013. 
  
• Jebby and Dr. Sarah Varghese (Son of Dr. George K. Varghese, 6416 Stream Valley Way, Laytonsville, MD 20882) were blessed with a baby girl(Lia) on November 11, 2013 in Connecticut.
  
• Chacko and Indu Abraham were blessed with a baby girl (Zara) on October 21, 2013 in Ecuador.
  
• Vijay T. John and Rinkle John (6853 Autumn Mist Ct, Mason, OH 45040) were blessed with a baby girl (Aleena Sara John) on September 28, 2013. 
  
• Mr. Thomas Alexander and Mrs. Mary Thomas have been blessed with a baby boy, Jonathan Thomas on September 7, 2013.    
  
• Mr. Aji Eapen & Mrs. Rupa Eapen (S/o Mrs. Mariamma Eapen) have been blessed with a baby girl, Isabella Eapen, on January 24 2013.
  
• Mr. Robi Abraham & Mrs. Prathibha Elma John (D/o Mr. Thomas K. John & Mrs. Molly John) have been blessed with a baby boy, Daivik Robi Abraham, on March 29 2013.
