A few words from our vicar
Dearly beloved in Christ,
As we enter into the last quarter of 2016, let us look back at the
events of the past quarter and thank God for His faithfulness and
blessings. Our son Ajay started a new chapter in his life on August 1st and is doing well. Let me thank you all for your prayers and support.
A few thoughts to share with all of you. We have been blessed
by a number of visitors--Evangelists and Achens and heard many
challenging messages, but have we really listened?
“Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the
Lord. Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days,
keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking lies. Turn
from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it. Psalms 34:11-14
1.Consider your ways
“Search me O God, and know my heart today. Try me of Savior
and know my thoughts today. See if there be some wicked way
in me. Cleanse me from every sin and set me free” should be our
2. Change your direction
The Greek word for repentance is “Metanoia”. It means a turning

protected him for some time but he would not give up his illicit
relationship with his sister-in-law (Matt14:3-12) Procrastination
can be spiritually fatal.
3. Surrender to Christ
“Why if I did that I would be at God’s mercy!! “ was the exclamation
of a young lady when told that surrender to God was the fi rst
step to fi nding God. We want to be in control all the time. But its
only when we truly let go and let God that we can be blessed.
I am saddened by the attitude of many of our younger members.
We are blessed with so many of them but it is becoming a fashion to criticize the church and talk of faith as real outside of the church. “Informal “ as we call it. But how accountable are we? We do not have the time or the inclination to sing in the Church Choir today. The Choir was once strong because parents were willing to bring their school-going children to practice and spend hours waiting for them to finish. Today our social activities have increased to the
